Open every window with one tap, one word, or a schedule you set once. We design, supply and fit motorized curtains Dubai residents trust, with free measurement, clean installation and a five-year warranty.
You don’t need to renovate anything. Most homes take a morning to fit, and your walls, flooring and furniture stay exactly as they are. Both older villas and brand new apartments suit the motorized curtains Dubai buyers now expect, and agents treat window automation as a genuine selling point too.
Nothing here comes off the shelf. You pick the fabric, color and lining. Heading style is yours too: wave, pinch pleat or eyelet. Track color, length and shape get cut to your window, curves included. We match the motor to your fabric weight, then you choose the control method. It all starts with a home visit and a sample book. Our team laser measures, sews and belts everything in our own workshop before fitting. Most motorized curtains Dubai clients order are fitted within three days.
Simplest choice, and the one older family members prefer. One remote can hold up to 16 channels, so a single unit runs an entire villa floor.
Mounted beside your light switches at standard height. Guests understand it instantly, which makes it the right pick for majlis areas, meeting rooms and holiday homes.
Bluetooth works within about ten meters. Adding a Wi-Fi bridge lets you open your curtains from Abu Dhabi, from London, or from the airport.
Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit all connect through the same bridge. Arabic and English commands both work reliably on Alexa and Google.
Set your curtains to close at 12pm and reopen at 5pm through summer. Light sensors can also react to glare, and thermal sensors respond to heat build-up on west-facing glass.
| Factor | Motorized system | Manual curtain |
|---|---|---|
| Daily operation | Remote, app, voice or timer | Reach the window and pull |
| Tall glass above 2.5 m | One motor handles a 6 m drop | Ladder or pole needed |
| Heat management | Closes automatically at peak hours | Only when someone is home |
| Privacy at night | Whole house shuts in under 30 seconds | Two minutes walking room to room |
| Fabric wear | No hand contact, no oil or dust transfer | Handling marks appear on lead edges |
| Child and pet safety | Cordless, nothing to pull or tangle | Cords and chains present a risk |
| Upfront cost | Higher | Lower |
| Long-term fabric life | Longer, thanks to even draw and UV scheduling | Shorter |
Our Curtains Dubai fitters arrive with laser levels and the full track range in the van. First they check the wall or ceiling for pipes and ducting. Then the track goes into slab or batten, never gypsum board alone. Motor limits get set, your remote gets paired, and the app gets configured. We run a full cycle in front of you before leaving. Bought your system elsewhere? We’ll fit that too. We install motorized curtains Dubai homes and offices rely on, seven days a week.
MySofa install and service motorized curtains throughout Dubai. Whether you’re in a villa, apartment, or office, our team brings the same free consultation, precise fitting, and professional installation to your doorstep.
My kids kept getting tangled in old curtain cords. Mysofa made everything motorized and safe. The consultant explained the safety benefits well. That’s what sealed the deal.
I’m renting, but Mysofa still gave me the same free consultation. Install quality was excellent. My landlord was impressed too. Didn’t expect this for a rental property.
I was skeptical at first. Now I open my curtains with voice commands, thanks to Mysofa. It’s part of my morning routine now. Honestly, it changed how I start my day.
Mysofa showed up on time. Measured everything with a laser. The quote had zero surprises. Installation took half a day. Setup was explained clearly before they left.
Budget between AED 1,500 and AED 2,000 for a single 3-metre window, fully fitted. That figure covers fabric at AED 65 to 220 per sqm, a motor from AED 750, an aluminium track, a remote and installation. Villa packages covering six or more windows work out cheaper per window.
Yes, provided the heading is wave or pinch pleat and the panels fall within the motor’s weight limit. Swapping your pole for a motorized track costs roughly AED 950 to AED 1,600 per window. Tab top and rod pocket curtains cannot be motorized reliably.
Battery motors keep running normally, since they hold charge independently of mains supply. Hardwired units include a manual override, letting you draw the curtain by hand until power returns.
Quality DC motors run between 32 and 38 decibels, which sits below a running fridge. Bedrooms stay quiet enough that a closing curtain will not wake anybody. Bare rooms with tiles and no soft furnishings sound slightly louder because of echo.
All three integrate through a Wi-Fi bridge, which is a one-time purchase covering several motors. Once paired, you can create scenes, set sunrise and sunset triggers and control everything by voice in English or Arabic.
Allow two to three hours per room for track mounting, limit setting, remote pairing and app configuration. Whole villas usually finish inside one to two days.
Somfy and Dooya lead the market for reliability, quiet running and spare part availability in the UAE. Always ask your supplier for the exact model number rather than accepting a generic weight rating.
Cordless operation removes the strangulation risk that hanging chains and cords create. Child locks on the remote also stop unsupervised operation, which makes these systems a safer choice for nurseries and playrooms.
Recharging is needed every 6 to 12 months on average, using a Type-C cable. Heavier fabric and frequent cycling shorten that interval, while sheers on light use can run longer.
Villa owners generally do not. Apartment residents should check with building management, because many Dubai towers require an NOC for new wiring. Battery motors avoid that requirement completely, which is why most tower clients choose them.
